Three years after Scribble’s debut release for This Ain’t Music he returns with a follow-up EP entitled Lighthouse.
The Edinburgh-based producer’s new effort was built on top of the remains of his previous works and portrays a story of decay unfolding over four parts. Monotonous ambient soundscapes are accompanied by a series of visuals created by fashion designer and photographer Ellen Nevrokopska that link the surreal atmosphere of parts I to IV with real life imagery. Videos of which are scheduled to appear on Scribble’s website throughout the week following the release.
The EP comes just a month ahead of a planned performance in the Scottish capital during April, which will be focused on further exploring sound degeneration and disintegration and will without a doubt be one of the artist’s most engaging works to date.
